LOCAL MISSIONS

We support the local YMCA each month.

We also have Sowing for the Lord Quilting group to help those in need. They meet the first Thursday of each month at 9am.

The church is involved in the Bible House. This is located across from the school. We provide staff and support the Release Time Christian Education. This allows us to reach out to children who may never have the opportunity to hear about Christ.

STATE MISSIONS

Our church provides monthly support for the Sonrise Children’s Home in Princeton, MO. We have “adopted” a room and provided everything for the dining room and decorated it. We have gone to Princeton several times to help renovate the building and get it ready for children.

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Katrina Relief Lumberton, MS, October 2005

We went to Lumberton, MS for a week to help re-roof a church damaged by Katrina. The ladies and children went to the local shelters and areas where there were evacuees to hand out care packages.

Banda Aceh, Indonesia, August 2006

This is our group standing in front of the finished water tank at one of the homes in Banda Aceh.

Our church supports Abel Santos, a missionary in Panama. Members of our church have also gone down and helped them build a school and donated some supplies for the school.

We also provide monthly support for Daren and . Cindy Spence, New Tribes Mission Indonesia.

This is in Banda Aceh. The tsunami sent this boat inland and landed on a house. They are rebuilding the house under the boat.

In Indonesia, the ladies aren’t allowed to do physical labor, so the ladies went to different schools to teach English.
