History

Trinity Baptist Church was organized and constituted on August 8, 1971 with 93 charter members and was affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Missouri Baptist Convention and Howell Baptist Assoc. Trinity progressed rapidly and voted to purchase a three acre tract of land in the Yardley Addition in 1972. Two years later members had built the church building as it stands today, except for a later addition of the north wing which added six classrooms. The Church issued a call to it’s first pastor, Edward E. Hamilton, in January 1972.

Full-time Pastors have been: Edward Hamilton, Pete Dominquez, Dick Bishop, and Robert Aubuchon. David Cox is the present Pastor.

Interim Pastors have included: Dr. W.H. Allison, Rev. K.L. Sutter, Dr. Frank Royal, Aaron Remington, and Norman Noble. The first budget for 1972-1973 was $13,566. Budget in 1989-1990 was $67,684. The budget for 2006 is $155,750. The total value of the building & property today is over $500,000, which is debt-free.
